In this article, you will learn how to set up a sub-reseller under your reseller account. Please proceed as follows:
- Log in to the Control Panel
- Point to the menu item “Customers” and click on “New customer”
3. Please complete all fields. Use the “Additional options” link to enter further address data.
In the field for the domain, please enter the desired domain that the reseller should then use for registration and click on “Update” and, after entering all the data, on the “Provide services” button:
4. In this step, you create the reseller administrator user.
Please complete all fields here, too. You can enter additional address data under the link “Additional user properties”. Once you have entered all the data, please click on the “Provide services” button.
5. Once you have entered the user data, an overview of all active services of the reseller is displayed.
The “Hosted Exchange 2010” service (name differs in graphic) is only used for user administration and cannot be deactivated for system-related reasons. The mere provision of the service does not incur any costs — only when a user with an Exchange mailbox is created to the costs for the provision arise.
6. Now please click on the “Reseller” field, then on the “Hosted Exchange 2010” service (name differs in graphic) and activate all three Exchange tariffs by ticking the checkbox.
Then click on “Apply Changes” and activate the services “Hosted SharePoint 2010”, “Hosted Dynamics CRM 4.0” and “Virtual Dedicated Server” (some names in the graphic are different). Confirm by clicking on “Deploy services”
7. The reseller service, which declares the customer as a reseller, is now activated.
The administrator user of the sub-reseller must then be granted the right to manage the sub-reseller's customers. To do this, please click on the “Users” button in the main navigation bar. Please click on “Edit user” here
8. Please click on “Account settings” and then on “Advanced options”.
9. In the menu that now opens, please click on “Advanced options” and activate the roles “Reseller — Reseller Full Administrator” and “Reseller — Reseller Partial Administrator”.
Click on “Provide services” to activate the user for reseller administration.
