Web parts are modular information units consisting of a title bar, frame, and content. Web parts allow you to create personalized user interfaces. The individual web parts make certain content or data available on a page and enable the user to work with or change this data via the browser. You can insert web parts on several pages or several times on one page. For example, you can insert the task list on every page on which you want to display its content. Each time the data in the task list changes, the changes will be reflected in all instances of the list view web part on all pages. If you have another list whose content you want to display alongside the content of the task list, you can insert web parts for both lists on one page and thus consolidate the information in one place.
